Matcha Tea Latte
Who needs coffee when you can enjoy a matcha tea latte? This energizing and delicious drink is made with young tea leaves that are filled with antioxidants and chlorophyll. The coconut butter adds amazing creaminess and a dose of healthy fats for a satisfying & nourishing cup of goodness.
1 cup cashew milk (any plant-based milk works)
½ teaspoon vanilla (optional)
Raw honey or sweetener of choice to taste
½ – 1 teaspoon matcha tea
1 tablespoon coconut butter
Pinch of Himalayan salt
In a small pot, gently warm the cashew milk or any plant-based milk and add in sweetener of choice. Do not boil. Stir. Place the heated milk in a blender with the matcha powder, coconut butter and pinch of salt. Leave a little air for the heat to escape and blend until frothy. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
