Banana Matcha Ice Cream
Have you ever dreamed about soft serve ice cream without any dairy, refined sugars, or saturated fat? Well, here it is! How does antioxidant-rich banana matcha “nice cream” sound?!
NOTE: Use the basic recipe and swap out the matcha green tea for your favorite flavors & spices.
4 frozen bananas, sliced
1 teaspoon vanilla
splash of plant-based milk of choice
1 tablespoon matcha powder (add up to a tablespoon more for a stronger flavor)
pinch of sea salt
Variations: instead of matcha powder, flavor with cacao powder, cinnamon, mint, nut butters, or fresh berries
Place the bananas, vanilla and sea salt in a food processor. Add in a splash of plant-based milk of choice. Process until smooth & creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. Add in the matcha powder and mix again until fully incorporated. Enjoy!
