    If there is no surf, I like to start my day with a little stretching, zumba, or a walk on the beach with my dog. And sometimes, if I can’t leave the house for some reason, I’ll meditate or do a little creative exercise. These things keep me grounded and centered. If I feel extremely overwhelmed, it usually means I have too much on my plate, and in that case, I’ll do a brain dump of everything I need to do and then prioritize my list to the top 3 things I could shoot for getting done that day!

    What a great program Elise, can’t wait to start! I have a pretty established morning routine. The details of what I do vary (meditation, book of positive aspects, yoga, visualization, guided imagery, etc.) but the intuition is always the same: tune in and tune up! To remember how amazing I am and focus on what I love. To vision, nurture and appreciate!

    I am grateful you articulated the idea that the last three weeks of the year are so stressful, amped up by the fact that we are beating ourselves up for unfinished goals from this past year and the pressure to make 2014 even better! I never really put it into words all of those pressures, but you are so right! What a lovely reminder to start off peacefully.

    Elise, With so much to do lately I’ve forgotten to practice my daily ritual of tuning into my Divine Self and offering up, surrendering my projects, expectations, concerns, etc. into Divine hands…so they can be there giving me a helping hand when I need it and helping me to keep it real and trust the guidance, insights and ahas that naturally flow when I do. So looking forward to your daily reminders.
